Building materials and architecture satisfy German standards in any respect as the owners, Mr and Mrs Spoerl, took over construction management and monitored the construction work. The owners attached particular importance to high quality materials such as marble and granite for sanitary facilities, kitchen worktops, staircases and columns. Floor tiles and wall tiles visually resemble marble, but are far sturdier and easier to clean. The thermopane windows are equipped with aluminium roller shutter and are partly made of safety glass.
